MTAS Monthly Meeting Tuesday October 14th - David Newman-White 
"Mixed Media Approach to Portraiture"

This month we are pleased to welcome David Newman-White to our Monthly Meeting for October Tuesday the 14th at the Stans Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor.

David Newman-White is acclaimed as a master visual artist and has been a teacher for the past 34 years.  He is quite high profile with TAFE colleges of NSW.

David studied in Australia, the UK and Italy and has taught at East Sydney,  Liverpool, Penrith and Seaforth TAFE, The Gallery School, Meadowbank Northern Institute TAFE, Nepean Art and Design Centre, Western Sydney Institute and the Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum (National Trust). 

These days lives with his wife of 43 years in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

In addition to exhibitions  in galleries extending from Queensland to South Australia, he has exhibited in New York’s Soho district at the Agora Gallery in an Exhibition titled “Genesis” in 2004; also at the “Clatsop Community College “ in Portland Oregon in an exhibition titled “Nude or Naked”. He exhibited in Lausanne Switzerland in an exhibition titled ‘Drawing 2012’ in September, 2012

Both Members and Non Members are welcome to join us for our meetings to view
an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to
enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.

7.30pm Tuesday 14th October at the Stan Stevens Studio, Windsor Library,
Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor (Please arrange to park outside of
Library due to carpark early closure)
