 Our popular exhibition is on again at the Marketplace in Richmond. There will be some great art to admire and we usually do well at this location with sales too :)

HAAT Annual Brochure Launch 26th & 27th July

Annual Brochure Launch event for the Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail, of which MTAS are a member, will be 26th and 27th of July - Market theme with artworks and crafts available for sale and viewing.

Monthly Meeting & Demo July 9th - Mo Godbeer Encaustics

We are excited to welcome Mo Godbeer to our Monthly Members Meeting for July to demonstrate some Encaustic techniques.

Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which coloured pigments are added.

As a contemporary artist working in the areas of encaustic, mixed media and photography, her works incorporate many diverse items including papers,photography,found objects and fibres, and reflect our relationship with nature,  and change, incorporating memory and time to understand our movement and growth in life.

Both Members and Non Members are welcome to join us for our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.

April Events - Demo Meeting 9th April, John Wilson workshop etc

On the 6th April we have our Workshop at Yarramundi, with tutor Ros Psarkis - there are a couple of places left so if you are interested please make sure to contact Cathie Garrod on 0466 973 068.

Annual Autumn Exhibition of Arts & Crafts 24th to 26th May

Macquarie Towns Arts Society will be holding their Annual Autumn Exhibition of Arts & Crafts by members of the society.

The exhibition will be held at the School of Arts, Richmond on 24th to 26th May.

Opening night 7pm Friday 24th May $5. Free entry Sat & Sun open 10am - 4pm.
