In May we are very
pleased to have Judy Brownlie for our Monthly Meeting on May 13th
at 7.30pm in the Stan Stevens Studio,
Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor.
For this
demonstration Judy will be using oil paint
on canvas and the subject will be still
life with flowers.
Judy is a painter in Oil, Pastel,
Watercolour and Mixed Media. She especially enjoys painting plein air,
portraits, still life and the never ending delights in nature. Judy's work is
primarily done at Le nid Studio which is set in a large garden at her
home.
A well known figure in the art scene of the
Hawkesbury as well as having quite a number of accolades further afield. Judy is
a member of the prestigious Royal Art Society. Her most recent achievement was
having her work acquired as the winning piece for the Friends of the Hawkesbury
Art Collection Acquisitive Exhibition.
Judy will also be doing a Workshop with us for a full day on 21st June 2014 out at our Yarramundi Community Centre - Still Life in Oils. Judy will be setting up a still life for each person attending so that each painting will be different.
