This month we are pleased to welcome Molly Gill to our Monthly Meeting for May Tuesday the 12th at the Stans Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor.
Molly will be doing a Scratch
Art demonstration with a Botanical theme piece.
Molly Gill is currently
a Nature Art and Landscapes Tutor at Willandra House, in Ryde, and Pablo’s Art
House, in Green Point and an art contractor with the Education Department of
the Macleay Museum, Sydney University.
Molly received her certification in
Botanical Illustration in 2010 through the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens
Botanical Art and Illustration Program.
She worked as a botanical illustration
contractor in the Desert Botanical Gardens herbarium before moving to the
central coast with her family in 2011.
Molly also has an MA in Museum Studies
and Anthropology, and spent the early part of her career in the Anthropology
Department of the Smithsonian’s Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C.
Both Members and Non Members are welcome to join us for our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.
