This month Macquarie Towns Arts Society are proud to announce the November Art
Demonstration on Tuesday 8th November at 7.30pm will feature Abstract
Watercolour artist Patrick Shirvington.
Patrick is a widely recognised creative
Watercolour artist who has practised art for over 40 years. Patrick's work comes
from a traditional beginning and has been pushing the boundary of abstraction
through his mark. Partick believes in 'allowing yourself to evolve' when
creating in any medium, understanding we all have a special connection with the

Patrick has been involved in many exhibitions including
Kedumba Drawing Award, Tattersalls Landscape Prize, Archibald and the Adelaide
Perry Prize for drawing, awarded artist in Residence at the Arthur Boyd Studio
ans represented inay private and public collections.
Patrick will
demonstrate his techniques with Watercolour, showing how to have the confidence
to 'let go'. At the end witness the finished work results from his many years
of painting experience. Patrick's demonstration in Watercolour will be a
insightful & fun evening for all! Looking forward to seeing you there!
